I’m full of joy and gratitude as I write this update. I’m finally at a place in my life where I feel the most content and confident I’ve been in my adulthood. This has not always been the case. There are still a lot of areas of my life that are far from where I would like them to be. That said, I have a sense of calm and confidence that the dots will connect and everything will work out in the end. How did I get here?
Over the last couple of years, I’ve invested heavily on personal development and paid more attention to my mental health. Through the countless blog posts, videos, podcasts and books I’ve consumed, I have picked up soo many tools that have helped me become unstuck. Here’s the deal, most of what we suffer from has already been identified and possible solutions documented. Why then do we go round and round in cycles trying to chart our path or reinvent the wheel?
Throughout all the personal development content I’ve been consuming, I’ve learnt how to boost my confidence, deal with fears and strategies to deal with all sorts of situations so that I can always walk away with the best outcomes. For a long time, like many people, I did not invest in my personal growth. If you are not learning and constantly expanding your mind, it means that you have a limited pool of tools to help you deal with everyday challenges and situations. Resolve to expand your mind today, months from now you’ll be happy you started.
