The last 3 days have been soo busy. I’ve done the equivalence of a full-time week worth of work in less than 3 days. To say that I am exhausted is probably an understatement. It’s days like today when I have so much on my plate that I wonder why committed myself to start a daily blog.

We all have those moments when you feel like throwing the towel. You will question the very reason why you are pursuing your current goals. And that’s not a bad thing, you need to keep reviewing your goals because some of the things you are doing now no longer serve their original purpose. That said, sometimes there’s a fine line between dropping things that no longer serve you and quitting. This is why you have to remind yourself why you started pursuing the goal in the first place.

In the last couple of days, I’ve struggled with writing and I almost broke my streak. I had to remind myself of how far I’ve come. The joy and relief I feel after I have crystallised an idea and articulated it in writing for others to benefit from it. How I’m improving as a writer with every keystroke and how every article is bringing me closer to my dream of being an impactful author.

Did you under the pressure? Where do you feel stuck? Remember why you started. Don’t forget there are lots of people out there to support you. Your goals matter.

In the wise words of Winston Churchill

Never give in. Never give in. Never, never, never, never—in nothing, great or small, large or petty—never give in, except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force. Never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy”

Winston Churchill
